Splash splash! Hello from the riverbank!

So I just read this book called The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and WHOA, that caterpillar eats even more than I do when I find a giant pile of clams! 🦦🍽️ It’s a short and fun book with cool holes in the pages, and the pictures look like someone painted them with sunshine and strawberries. Yum!

This book is mostly about growing up, change, and being patient. The caterpillar starts off so tiny (like me when I was a baby pup!), but then eats and eats and changes into a big, beautiful butterfly! 🐛➡️🦋 It’s like magic, but real-life magic.

It also teaches us that sometimes we want all the snacks, like cupcakes and sausage (ew, not for me though—I’m a fish guy), but eating too much junk makes our tummies hurt. Soooo, it’s also about making good choices and balance. (Mom always says that too. Moms and caterpillars know stuff.)

In the end, the caterpillar rests, waits, and changes into something amazing. That’s like us otters learning how to swim better, build stronger dams, or just growing up day by day.

I give this book 5 fish out of 5 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟 because it’s fun, pretty, and teaches you that even little things can become something big and awesome.

Now I’m off to munch on a crab snack and take a nap on a rock. Byeeeee! 🦦💤🪺
